Vocal Media is a social impact marketing agency. We build and activate powerful social media movements across the top social platforms: TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, X, and Discord. We work on issues like racial justice, climate change, and economic inequality, as well as creating cultural content around popular topics like health and wellness, beauty, fashion, sports, media, history, and everything in between.

The Vocal Media team brings together talent from music promotion, tech, digital marketing, influencer marketing, and political organizing to support progressive campaigns and organizations. Across the board, our team members believe deeply in helping organizations leverage social media to promote social good.

Responsibilities

• Design high-quality static and video content for social media, ensuring visuals are engaging and aligned with topic research, audience characteristics, and insights from performance data.
• Collaborate with the social media team to create and maintain content templates while handling ad hoc design requests.
• Manage design revisions through the approvals process, from internal to client review.
• Establish and revise visual branding guidelines and toolkits to optimize the content creation workflow and processes.
• Offer creative direction and visual strategy support to the social media team.

Qualifications

• Strong graphic design experience across multiple platforms and mediums, including but not limited to social media content creation and slide decks.
• High proficiency with Canva, Figma, and/or Adobe Illustrator.
• Data visualization and motion graphics (e.g., Adobe After Effects) experience is a plus.
• Great organizational & communication skills with a strong commitment to follow through.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously under strict deadlines.
